What Khuba reviews — and what it does not prove

Khuba is for adults 18 and older. Anyone younger is not permitted on the app. If you believe a member is under 18, report it immediately through the app or on Child Safety.

What we review

New members take a photo in the app while holding up three fingers. Our team compares that photo with the pictures on the profile. We aim to complete most reviews within twenty-four hours. The review photo is not shown to other members. How long it is retained and how it is deleted are explained in our Privacy Policy.

The photo review itself is a manual comparison of photos. It does not verify a legal name or government-issued identity. Members also affirm Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior when they join. That declaration is a condition of membership. It is not a verification of faith.

What a completed review does not prove

A completed review means our team found the review photo reasonably consistent with the photos displayed on the profile. It does not verify the member’s legal identity, intentions, honesty, or faith. It does not make an in-person meeting safe.

Reporting, blocking, and impersonation

You can Block, Report, or use Block & Report together.

Blocking hides both profiles from each other. You will not see that person in Discover or Explore, they will not see you, and they cannot like, message, or notify you. Blocking stays in place. Unmatch can still remove an existing match, but you do not need a match in order to Block.

Reporting notifies our team. Reporting does not automatically block the member. If you do not want to see or hear from that person again, use both Report and Block, or choose Block & Report in the app.

Use Report for harassment, impersonation, fake photos, or anything that breaks the Community Rules. If someone is using another person’s pictures or name, report it. Child-safety reports receive priority review. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Romance scams and money

Never send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or financial information to someone you met on Khuba. Never share login or verification codes. Do not accept investment advice from someone you met through a dating app. Urgent medical or travel expenses, requests for secrecy, and pressure to move conversations away from the app can be warning signs. Stop contact and report the profile if something feels wrong.

If you already sent money, contact your bank, payment provider, or gift-card company immediately and ask whether the transaction can be reversed.

Meeting in person

If you choose to meet, meet in a busy public place and remain there for the first meeting. Tell a trusted person where you are going and whom you are meeting. Arrange your own transportation and keep your home address, workplace, and financial information private. Do not leave food or drinks unattended. Trust your instincts and leave if you feel uncomfortable, pressured, or unsafe. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
