Terms of Service

1. Who may use Khuba

You must be at least 18. You must be from a Middle Eastern, Armenian, or Cypriot background, including the worldwide diaspora, or a convert from those backgrounds. You must affirm Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. That affirmation is a condition of membership. It is not a verification of faith or sincerity. You must not be currently married. People who have never married, are divorced, or are widowed may join. People who remain married, including those who are separated, may not use Khuba to date. Khuba does not claim that Armenia or Cyprus is part of the Middle East. We may refuse, suspend, or close an account that does not meet these conditions. 2. What Khuba is — and is not

Khuba is a Christian dating community oriented toward Christian marriage. It is not an interfaith service, not a parish directory, and not a promise that you will meet a particular person. Members select one broad church family on their profile. That selection is a starting point for conversation. It does not identify a parish, rite, or jurisdiction, and it does not mean Khuba has confirmed anyone’s practice. Khuba does not determine whether someone is free to marry in a particular church. Members must discuss previous marriages honestly and consult their priest, pastor, or church authority.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else is using it. Khuba uses phone-number sign-in through Firebase Authentication (Google LLC). One account per person. Do not share an account.

4. How you must behave

Use Khuba with the modesty and honesty expected of a Christian marriage-minded community. You must not: post sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene content; harass, bully, stalk, threaten, or abuse anyone; use another person’s photos or name; lie about being married; create extra accounts; ask members for money, gift cards, or financial information; advertise products, churches, or other apps; post hate speech; send spam; share another member’s messages or photos without consent; use bots or scrapers; or break the law. The Community Rules on this site apply as part of these Terms.

CHILD SAFETY: Anyone under 18 is barred. Content or conduct that sexualizes minors leads to removal, account closure, and reporting to law enforcement and, where U.S. law applies, NCMEC. Report it in the app or at [email protected].

Breaking these rules may lead to immediate suspension or permanent removal without a refund.

5. Content you post

You own the photos, messages, and other material you submit (“User Content”). You give FoxApex a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to store, display, and transmit that content only to operate and improve Khuba. We do not claim ownership of your content. You confirm you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not infringe someone else’s rights.

6. Photo review

Before a profile is shown to other members, Khuba requires a review photo taken in the app while holding up three fingers. Authorized FoxApex staff compare that photo with the pictures on the profile. Other members never see the review photo. After the review is finished — approved or rejected — we delete it from active storage. Deleted files remain recoverable in Firebase Storage for seven days because of soft delete. The same applies if you delete your account before review is finished. A completed review means the photos appeared reasonably consistent. It does not verify legal identity, intentions, honesty, or faith, and it does not make an in-person meeting safe. More detail is on khubamatch.com/safety.

7. Kokhwa

Some features require Kokhwa, Khuba’s paid membership. Apple and Google process payment through RevenueCat. FoxApex does not receive your full card number. Referral Kokhwa has the same benefits as a paid Kokhwa subscription while it is active.

Plans renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel in your store account (iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Subscriptions). Deleting your Khuba account does not cancel the store subscription.

Purchases are final except where the law requires a refund. Residents of Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin may cancel within 3 business days for a full refund. Residents of the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland may cancel within 14 days of starting the subscription.

Opening a chargeback without first writing to [email protected] may lead to account closure. If we suspend or close an account for a violation, paid benefits end at once. You must still cancel the store subscription yourself to stop future charges.

Referral or promotional Kokhwa access is not transferable, has no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for money.

8. Location and notifications

If you allow location, Khuba uses a general coordinate to show nearby members. You may turn location and notifications off in device settings. Notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging.

9. Blocking, reporting, and prohibited technical use

You may Block, Report, or use Block & Report. Blocking hides both profiles from each other and stays in place. Reporting notifies our team; it does not block by itself. You must not reverse engineer, scrape, or extract member data; impersonate anyone; use Khuba for unauthorized commercial solicitation; interfere with the Service; or try to access systems you are not allowed to use.

10. Closing an account

FoxApex may suspend or permanently close an account at any time, with or without prior notice, including for breaking these Terms or the Community Rules, harmful or dishonest conduct, or conduct that harms the community. We may also take legal action where appropriate.

If we close an account, paid benefits end at once and we do not refund the store charge except where the law requires it. You may delete your own account in Settings. Deletion removes your profile, photos, matches, and messages from our active systems, subject to the Privacy Policy (including the seven-day recoverable period for deleted storage files, and longer retention when the law requires it).

INDEMNIFICATION: You will indemnify and hold harmless FoxApex LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from losses, claims, damages, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your User Content, your use of Khuba, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Disputes relating to the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court, and you waive class actions. Before arbitration, write to [email protected] and try to resolve the matter informally. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms by emailing [email protected].

11. No warranties

Khuba is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” FoxApex does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any member is who they claim to be. FoxApex is not responsible for another member’s conduct online or in person. Completing photo review does not make a meeting safe.

12. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, FoxApex LLC and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from these Terms or from using or being unable to use Khuba.

13. Florida law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where arbitration applies, disputes will be heard in courts located in Florida.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. When we do, we will update the date on this page and may require a new agreement in the app. Using Khuba after that agreement means you accept the revised Terms.
